The Battle for the Peach Orchard

Here are a few pictures from yesterdays game at the Newmarket & Ely club. We were doing a refight of the fight for the Peach Orchard in Sickles Salient (Gettysburg Day 2) using Regimental Fire & Fury rules.

This was a pretty tight game; the scenario was well designed in terms of what we could get through in the time available. The Union held out against the confederates attack, though only just. The last picture shows the final desperate struggle for the orchard itself.

Many thanks to Colin for putting the game on.

Who could possibly have wanted to be outside in the sunshine??

  2. Looks great.
Every time. I play a game I think I'll take some pics and post them or start a blog.
    Then I forget:-(
I have far less time for Wargaming now that I've retired.
Gardening decorating weeding they grow faster and in more places now.
When I finish decorating it's like the forth bridge and I have to start again.
The rattle of a dice in a cup seem to bring out colour charts. :-((
